Overview
TV1000 was Viasat’s premium movie channel, home to Hollywood blockbusters, classics, and drama premieres. The goal of the rebrand was to give the channel a more cinematic, polished look, reflecting its high-end content offering and aligning it with modern viewer expectations.
Concept
The visual identity centered around the idea of “emotional immersion.” Using elegant typography, light flares, and smooth camera transitions, the design aimed to create an atmosphere that feels both premium and intimate, bringing viewers closer to the emotion and drama of film.
Execution
At DMC Group, I was responsible for:
Developing the overall design concept
Creating key styleframes and animation tests
Designing logo animations and promo packaging
Defining typography, color palette, and motion language
Aligning the on-air package with the broader Viasat brand world
