Overview
For Halloween 2023, we teamed up with AdAge Studio 30 to create an immersive, narrative-driven campaign: A Nightmare on Ad Street. The experience combined classic horror themes with real-world marketing challenges, presented as five chilling tales that haunted the ad tech industry.
Concept
We drew inspiration from the iconic Goosebumps book series, using its instantly recognizable look and feel to hook audiences with nostalgia while delivering a satirical twist. Each story highlighted common industry nightmares, demonic data, ghosted creatives, cursed KPIs, through the lens of childhood horror storytelling.
Execution
I led the art direction from concept through launch, working closely with an illustrator to replicate the eerie charm of vintage Goosebumps covers. This included defining the visual tone, guiding illustration style, developing storyboards, and overseeing asset production for all screen formats. The result was a cohesive, creepy, and clever campaign that balanced humor and insight.
